A plain-language summary of what Lanovix Inc. collects when you visit lanovix.com, why, who sees it, and how you can ask us to remove it.

Who this policy is from
Lanovix Inc. is a managed-IT and custom-software firm based in Berne, Indiana. This policy covers the lanovix.com website and the services we provide through it. It does not cover engagements that are already governed by a signed service agreement; those agreements control for active clients.
What we collect
We collect two categories of information from visitors to this site, and we try to keep both to a minimum.
Information you submit through the contact form
When you submit the contact form on our homepage, we receive your first name, last name, business email address, company name, the service category you selected, and the message you wrote. We do not collect any other form fields, and we do not ask for payment information or government identifiers.
Analytics, only after you opt in
If you accept cookies on the banner that appears on your first visit, we load Google Analytics, which records general information about how you moved through the site: which pages you visited, roughly where you are in the world, your device type, and how you arrived at the site. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered in your browser so the banner does not reappear.
Server and delivery logs
Our hosting provider and email-delivery provider record standard technical information, such as IP addresses and timestamps, for operational and security reasons. These logs are short-lived and are not connected to any marketing system.
Why we collect it
We collect the contact-form information for the sole purpose of responding to your inquiry and, if it leads to an engagement, conducting business with you. We collect analytics to understand which articles and service pages are useful and which are not, so we can improve them. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, under any circumstances.
Who sees it
Contact-form submissions are delivered to us through EmailJS, a third-party service that acts as our email transport. Your submission is visible to EmailJS in transit and to the Lanovix team on receipt. It is not shared with anyone else.
If you have accepted analytics cookies, your anonymized usage data is processed by Google as part of Google Analytics. We do not attempt to connect analytics data to individuals who fill out the contact form.
We do not use advertising networks, social-media pixels, retargeting services, or session-recording tools. There is no third-party JavaScript on this site other than Google Analytics (conditional on your consent) and the fonts we serve from Google Fonts.
How long we keep it
Contact-form submissions are kept in our email and CRM systems for as long as we have an active conversation with you, or for up to three years if that conversation does not lead to an engagement. Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics according to our account setting, currently 14 months. Server and delivery logs are typically rotated within 30 to 90 days.
Cookies
This site uses one functional cookie (or localStorage entry) to remember your consent choice for the cookie banner. If you accept, Google Analytics will set additional cookies to measure usage. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
To change your choice at any time, clear your site data in your browser or contact us at the email address below. A future update to this site will add a "Manage cookies" link in the footer.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to have us stop processing it. For visitors from jurisdictions where stronger rights apply (including California under the CCPA/CPRA and the European Union under the GDPR), those rights are respected in addition to the rights above.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request." We will respond within 30 days.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has submitted information through our contact form, email us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be flagged near the top of the page for at least 30 days.
